12/3/10 - New shows and new music!

J.R.'s Holiday EP, "20 Minute Holiday" is available now at JRMERCH.com and will be available at all download sites (iTunes etc.) worldwide Dec. 7th.

There is also a karaoke version of the entire album of 'A Beautiful End' being released worldwide for download on Dec 21st.

10/26/10 - LOTS OF NEWS!!!

J.R. released three new songs this week. An acoustic version of 'Far End of the Black' and two karaoke versions of songs from his album, A Beautiful End. These two songs, 'Far End of the Black' and 'A Beautiful End', are the actual album tracks minus the lead vocals and not a version copied by some other studio band. J.R. also has an entire album of karaoke versions planned to be out by the end of this year.

For the holiday season a piano only version of 'Clearwater' will be available at the end of November, and a holiday EP will be be available at the beginning of December.

J.R. plans to be back in the studio to record a new record in January.

On November 7th J.R. will be playing with the full band at Dodger Stadium for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Los Angeles Walk-a-thon. Music will begin once the walkers return and should go from 11:30am-1pm. 15,000 people are expected to attend.

J.R. has put up a selection of rare CDs/DVDs of both solo and Dishwalla material from his private collection on Ebay. 1 CD has 3 unreleased tracks. All the proceeds are part of a fundraiser that will go to help J.R.'s friend Ian's family. "Ian has worked for and with Dishwalla and myself for years and has since become a close friend and I want to help. He is a good soul."

Take Ian’s situation, for example. Here is a family making every effort to keep a child safe.What you may or may not know is that Ian’s legal battle will culminate in a full trial this fall. They have been fighting to protect their 7-year-old daughter from emotional and physical harm since they learned that her mother married a sex offender with a violent history and acted to withhold this info from the courts and from the family while subjecting her daughter to him. For the family, the most costly and emotional hurdle is ahead. Here’s where the fundraiser comes in: Imagine having to spend $50,000 or more to keep someone you love safe. After what Ian has been through this past year and the fight they face ahead, we wish to fill his family with tremendous hope and help to raise funds to support their legal fees and restore their dreams for their life together.

03/29/10 - J.R. to be featured on a new app that is coming out Saturday 4/3, for the iPad launch. The app is called Fantapper. This app puts all of J.R.'s social networking sites together into one place and will have a huge amount of personal info, pictures, videos, stories and exclusive content.
